More About Me- My life and career thrive at the intersection of accessibility, inclusion, and challenging the perceptions of wholeness and the limits of human capacities. I am an ICF Credentialed Professional Certified Coach, a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach, inclusive design expert, and mindfulness instructor with well over 20,000 hours of training.
Professionally, I’ve led systems-change initiatives in corporate, non-profit and government sectors in individual contributor roles through consulting and directorship capacities, most recently with the Co-Active Training Institute and Disability:IN. Throughout these roles I have coached and trained more than 2,000 leaders and teams on mitigating unconscious bias, inclusivity and belonging, and presence-based leadership.
While studying writing at The University of Arizona, I became interested in indigenous wisdom traditions. This passion eventually led to a four-year apprenticeship with a traditional Healer, a 20+ year (and counting) study of Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu, and an equally long and diligent journey into Buddhist meditation.
My journey is inspired by a love of laughter, deep irreverence, and studying meditation as a vehicle for liberation. Outside of work, I enjoy accessible hiking, teaching self-defense, and training in Vipassana, Zen, and the martial arts.
